ADF has airlifted 380 Borroloola residents to Darwin as McArthur River hits flood peak​

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) has finished its emergency flood evacuations of Borroloola residents, with the McArthur River expected to now be receding after likely hitting a record flood level.

The ADF airlifted 380 Borroloola residents to Darwin on Wednesday and Thursday, authorities said, after a "one-in-100-year flood" was forecast to hit the community.
