I'd never heard of kildeers. They have very pretty stripes.

Silly things like to nest in the horses’ paddocks, I have to go and put up markers so I don’t go and mow over them!

Same system hot British Columbia, province here in Canada - and calling for another wind storm tomorrow. Wild weather all around. And here it’s been very mild.

Currently +2C and foggy, the walk to the barn was creepy

Come on up for a visit. You can do chores while I sit and watch the chickens.

That is if we every get snow this winter!!! Usually we have a couple meters of it. I hate shovelling snow.

oohh wintery mix - it’s begun. I live close to the Mason Dixon line (where north and south meet) and it seems to be aptly placed- when there’s snow to the north and rain to the south we generally get a mix.
