What's the temperature where you are???

Is this chilly for you?
At 63 years old
Going from 70’s to 50’s yes,
Going from 50’s to 70’s I feel like it’s 100 heat index
Back when I was younger I was not cold until it was 32 or below
That was when I wore socks and heavy duty winter coat ,
anything 33 and above was light jacket no socks weather and anything above 50 was sandals weather

Mobile has always had roller coaster weather and you never knew if you would have the a/c or heat on for October November December January February
It’s only been in the last 15 years that I have worn socks and shoes when it was above freezing ,
I was a barefoot and sandals kind of gal that only wore socks and shoes at 32 or lower
I still wear sandals but only when its hot and when it’s cold I have wore multiple pairs of socks in the last few years
And it’s been almost 2 years since my body changed and I no longer wish to be outside when it is 32 or below
And this past June is when I no longer wish to be outside when it is hot

55F - hit 69 today, windy again though.
Low: 35F

Heat wave tomorrow...maybe 77, then temps dive again.
So, Its been chilly here. Tonight 27, Sunday 29, Monday 28 and Tuesday 21. I have the coop covered with tarps and thick plastic in the front. I also have the heat lamp inside. But those temps are so low I'm still concerned. They seem fine this morning at 26 and I still got 3 eggs this afternoon (3 out of 4 ladies - BO).

As long as they are dry, well ventilated, and draft free they will be fine at far lower temperatures without supplemental heat. Many a coop has been burned and flock killed because of heat lamps.
