Wind is down to gusts of 28 from 41, but not wanting a repeat of yesterday, they're staying locked up until the wind dies. It's supposed to settle down after noon so we'll see.

Do you get snow ever?

Last time we had what I call ice snow was in January 2018 and I was like a kid I went walking and stomping in the snow with my thermal boots on having so much fun & in the shaded areas it lasted a few days

Before that was January 2014 winter storm Leon that shut mobile down for several days
We were like after a hurricane where we were under city curfew

Feb 2010 we had some ice snow that only had everything delayed & opening late until the sun melted it away

December 1996 SNOW was beautiful and lasted a few days in the shaded area by Christmas it was long gone and you would never had known it snowed

I remember being in citronella Alabama in 1987 and it snowed there but not in mobile

It snowed I was in 10th grade and the students and teachers all ran out to play in the snow and it did not last it was melting

February 1973 SNOW I was only 11 at the time so all I remember is we had enough snow for snowman in our front yard

We have had a few snow flurries over the years that melted and didn’t accumulate on the ground

Our last big snow was December 24th 2007. We where the only place that year to get snow on Christmas eve.
