That system is stretching right up here! Wow that’s a huge system, lots of rain.
That's almost exactly what hubby said yesterday. He's been wanting to work on the outside of our breeding coop, but was so shocked he showed me the map of the state of Wisconsin was entirely covered with rain. There is very little snow left, just under bushes or what's left of piles hubby made when he plowed.

Have about 2” here on the ground but I am betting once I get up on the open areas it will be all gone. It’s rain all day, I brought the horses in around noon they were cold.

The chooks ventured out a bit but mainly stayed indoors. While it is dreary and wet, at least it isn’t freezing cold. I can stand this weather. Next week all bets are off though, back to reality next weekend 😢

Currently it’s 4C (39F) and still raining I just got in from the barn doing evening chores.

Still under rainfall and fog warnings

Temperatures will fall steadily all week now, until it is once again back to below freezing temps.

I don't like cold either and even way down here we are getting what is extreme cold later in the week. Low 20's is below normal for us in January.
Mother Nature has gone off the rails!

Of course I was spoiled with last winter, I had high hopes of it being mild again.

And it’s all relative really, if I had to admit it, the temps have been milder than they should be, even the cold temps; but for me who detests the cold and snow it’s just misery.
