These temps are about 15-20° above normal, isn't that crazy? Last year on January 2nd it was 61°. Tomorrow it's going to be 83°.

Everyone here is ticked off. We need these relatively cooler months to recover from the six months of hell we endure the rest of the year. 60° is recovery; 83° definitely isn't.

Yesterday I was wearing shorts sitting outside in the sun and it was beautiful and Tuesday was even warmer and beautiful and this morning I was all bundled up and freezingcold

The silkies were out earlier for a while as the sun was out, and the wind was not so bad, but most went right back to their coops. Some huddled up against the house near the back deck hoping mom comes out with a treat. Oh, of course.
