Is that normal this time of year for you? It's not even Autumn really.

At least here it isn't terribly cold (no -20C temps for a while), but the snow is relentless. I am going to go out in a bit and bring the horses back inside, no sense having them just stuck up in the snow doing nothing. They can come inside and eat hay and the chickens can annoy them hahaha.

No, I wouldn't say it's normal. Jan, Feb, March are typically our warmest months. It's hovering on 12C inside my house at 7.50a.m. The dogs slept on wool blankets last nite. Dreading winter already lol

Melbourne has shivered through its coldest February night on record on Saturday as summer snow flurries fell in the Victorian Alps.
The temperature in the city dipped to 9.9 degrees Celsius (49.82F) on Saturday, breaking the previous February record of 10C on February 15, 2017.
At Mount Baw Baw, a 26-year record was smashed when the overnight temperature plummeted to minus 1.4C (29.48F), breaking the previous record of -1C on February 8, 1999.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Keris Arndt said the cold front that moved into Victoria on Friday was dragging very cold air from the Southern Ocean over the state.
"Victoria's experienced a bit of a temperature whiplash at the moment going from a heat wave to cold," he said.
The Hunters Hill weather station, 90 kilometres east of Albury-Wodonga, also recorded its coldest February morning on record, reaching 2C / 35.6F overnight Saturday.
Mr Ardnt said the cold conditions would persist until Thursday, but temperatures into the 30s / 86+F would return by the weekend.
"By the end of the week on Friday and Saturday, we're back to much hotter conditions … so quite a roller coaster."
The 100-kilometre loop course takes in 10 climbs and eight huts, starting and finishing at Mount Buller Village, to raise funds for children with autism.
Race organiser Chris Ord said it was the first time snow had fallen during the event's nine-year history.
"What we saw up at Mount Buller was absolutely stunning and a first for me in summer anyway," Mr Ord said.
"All our marking signs to get people around the course were all whited out.
"During our event, we've had cold [conditions], we've had very wet, we've had it very hot, and we've had fires shut down our 100-kilometre course as well in the past, so today was all very interesting."
Adrian Copeland, who was visiting the area, says he woke up to snow on his swag at Mt Buller on Sunday morning.
In Victoria's other main alpine resorts, the temperature fell to -3.3C / 31.46F overnight at Falls Creek, and at Mount Hotham, the overnight minimum was -3.7C.
"The temperatures at Falls Creek and Mount Hotham … are amongst the coldest conditions we have seen in February for these sites," Mr Ardnt said.
Mount Buller marketing manager David Clark urged summer visitors heading to Victoria’s high country to be ready for any unseasonal conditions.
