We had a blizzard nearly all day. It started out with rain, then snow, then heavy snow, then the sideways wind hit and you couldn't see three feet in front of you. It stopped now and left about 2-3" of snow and some drifts about 1-2'.

I'm in No. Central West Virginia...it was -11 (that's not a typo, yes MINUS 11 Degrees) this morning! I hope I don't find chicken-pops when I go to feed and water this morning!

Yesterday, the radio said Alaska was averaging 40 degrees, it was -5 here at the time! I don't like the heat, but this is CRAZY COLD!

How frozen are you guys???

We are in Northeast Mississippi and got to 8 degrees in 2024 and 2025, but it is starting to warm up. We didn't have to do anything to keep our chickens warm since we have installed roll up sides for our long runs similar to greenhouses. It was an awesome addition for our runs.
