It’s a beautiful fireplace, here we have a lot of wood stoves (wood burners) - we place a kettle of water on the stove top; the water simmering adds humidity to the air, it gets dry here also in the winter.

Today it is -3c at the moment it’s been blowing snow all day yesterday amd over night. I just heard the snow plow go by, that’s good the roads should be cleared and salted/sand put on them to help melt the icy surface.

Currently it’s -3C (27F),

It’s going to warm up here Monday! Check out this forecast, I haven’t seen those temps since early November last year.

Today it was +5 C here, and windy, although the wind was noticeably warm. Today is the first day this year when my geese walked outside. Before that they walked only in the greenhouse, and today I let them outside. True, closer to the evening I closed them again, because foxes have become active here in the spring and it is not safe to be outside without supervision. But my ducks are still in the greenhouse. It's just that the greenhouse is relatively large, 36 square meters, and there are only 26 ducks, they are not cramped there, in addition there is a house with another 12 square meters of space - well, they walk around there everywhere.
