It's 70° at 11:30 A.M. Chicken delights today were blueberries and peas.

Here we go again. They're promising rain and thunder this evening.

My friend was driving on BLM land near the Sierra Estrella Wilderness southwest of Phoenix and saw this herd of wild horses. He said there were more than a hundred of them. Lots of yearlings and foals.

I have seen wild horses before in Arizona but never a herd this big, how lucky was he? It's so quintessentially wild west. The guy in the white truck also stopped to watch them.

BLM land is public land set aside for recreational and conservation activities, similar to crown land in Canada.

Some 40+years ago I was visiting my cousins in Mississippi
There was a rodeo arena full of wild horses on US49 between Hattiesburg and Jackson and they had signs that said if you could catch one it was yours to keep
no one caught any (at least on the days we went to watch)
It was fun to watch them try

74° with 25 mph winds at 2:30 P.M. My roommate just walked the dogs and she said there's dust and debris and trash blowing around everywhere.

While we didn't get rain where we live, the mountains got 3" of snow the other day.

Friday 14th of March 12.37p.m. Warm, blue and breezy 20.4 / 25.9kph NNE, Hg 50%, my backyard is reading 43C / 109.4F, but it's not that hot. The official weather station reading (at Port Kembla beach) is 23C / 75F, but it's not that cool, so I'm going with the indoor reading of 29C / 84.2F. Mostly sunny.

Moon is 100% rising 6.14p.m. It was beautiful last nite as well.
