Brrrr! -10C (15F) and clear, wind at the moment is calm, but you can bet it will pick up.

The ground is frozen like cement making it hard to walk on, the ruts in the mud from the horses’ hooves are very dangerous, one can twist an ankle or worse break an ankle. The one good thing about snow is that it fills and cushions the frozen mud and ruts.

But it’s closer to summer than winter now!
