This huge many-armed saguaro cactus lives just north of Tucson. Locals have named it Shiva.

Saguaros usually produce their first arms when they are 50-70 years old. Each arm can weigh several hundred pounds.

10.49p.m. Muggy, NE breeze at 16.7kph, heavy rain shower earlier this evening while I was in the supermaket. It poured in the partially open car windows like I can't believe. The dogs weren't impressed lol

Currently 23C / 73.4F, which is what they forecast, only now they have dropped in to 70F and added 4 warnings:

Sheep graziers alert - cold and rain,
severe weather warning - heavy rain and damaging wind gusts for Saturday (New Moon),
marine wind warning and hazardous surf warning.

Sounds like a wild weekend ahead.
