What's the temperature where you are???

Very warm here and under a heat warming.

That is 89f and the humidex is 100F.

I just spent the morning moving last years hay in the mow, I had to give up when my fan started blowing hot air.

Thermometer in the mow read 100f - without the humidity. Only got about 1/3 moved so I can get the new hay in this week. Tomorrow is another day….

Have a lovely day/evening/night everyone.

I heard that - astonishing how fast it rose, gosh how terrifying, it’s all the talk here about the amount of rain that fell.

Here last winter it was snow - an astonishing amount fell - houses that were 50 yrs old had roofs collapsing. Then the ice storm, we are still cleaning up and fixing stuff in this area from winter and now it’s scorching hot.

What is going on with Mother Nature? She has gone off the rails for sure.
It is time mother nature gets a performance appraisal on her handiwork, she has been doing her work badly for a few years now.

The weather has been volatile, rain when it should not, dry when it should rain, hot when it should be cold and so vice versa. The plants, animals and human are all confused.

Edit to say...nature has been messed with, not mother nature failing to do her work. I was wrong to blame mother nature.

It’s manipulated

4:41 pm 87 degrees and very humid! We haven` t had a decent rain in I don`t know how long!

Even my banana plants are wilting in the heat, and they generally love the sunny hot weather.

Thankfully the temps have dropped off and the wind has swapped to the NW, no rain though - yet.

I sure hope you’re in the desert because if that was the temperature here with all this humidity, I think I would die

Yup - that was my hay mow today - 100F up in that mow and all the humidity. And darn my chocolate covered peanuts all melted - big disappointment!
