UPDATE: The deathtoll has rose to over 100 in all the flooded area of the Hill country of Texas, including the 27 childern from Camp Mystic, some still unidentified. Search and Recovery operations have been ongoing today but have been hampered by more thunderstorms in the affected areas.

Hoping the rain in Texas is all over for this month at least.
19C at 1.19PM in the arvo. Bit chilly - but it is winter. Overcast, but the overnight rain is no longer falling.

18C (65f) quite the change from the past few days of mid 20s as a low at night.

These wild swings are not the summer norm here. 28C to 30C during the day and around 19 or 20 overnight lows.

Sure hope my winter isn’t crazy like this summer!

The heat here finally broke, so highs are back down to the high 70s and low 80s, and we finally got a cool night, too, but this humidity is ridiculous. 90% yesterday, 96 now. It hasn't rained in 24 hours but is supposed to. No wind is a treat too!
