It is so incredibly frustrating! Like you would think they would remember how to drive in those conditions when they've done it on prior winters.

I can understand people who are tourists or new to driving or just moved to the area who aren't used to driving in snow going slow, but my frustration is with the people who have lived in an area that snows in the winter their entire lives and who still act like they've never driven in it before.

Yep, very frustrating! Those that forget how to drive during slippery conditions are everywhere!

Ever seen fog at negative temps

9 am. Bitter temps. Went to leave the house. 4" of extra snow overnight. Frozen fog over the farm fields. Visibility, none. The field is 500 feet deep.

Reminds me of Stephen King's "the mist".

Looks nice from where I sit.

Years ago when the (now ex) wife and I moved to our 2 acres, I bought a Gravely garden tractor. As winter moved in, I realized that I was going to need the snow blower attachment. The wife threw a fit because she thought $300 was too much.

The guy had other attachments, so I bought the whole lot.

First major snow... I'm out blowing 14 inches of snow off the driveway. The wife came out and was watching me. I was covered head to toe in snow. I stopped and gave her a big smile. She said 2 choice words I won't repeat, and walked back in the house.

She always hated it when I was right.
