Ever seen fog at negative temps

Yup, seen it at -40C coating everything in hoare frost. Miserable stuff

Currently -9C (16F) and clear skies. The full moon makes it as bright as day!

Going to be a chilly week ahead, these are unusually cold temps for here this time of year.

Ewwwww! Evil white stuff! Yuck!

But it's so pretty... I'm just hoping we have a white Christmas.

Years ago when the (now ex) wife and I moved to our 2 acres, I bought a Gravely garden tractor. As winter moved in, I realized that I was going to need the snow blower attachment. The wife threw a fit because she thought $300 was too much.

The guy had other attachments, so I bought the whole lot.

First major snow... I'm out blowing 14 inches of snow off the driveway. The wife came out and was watching me. I was covered head to toe in snow. I stopped and gave her a big smile. She said 2 choice words I won't repeat, and walked back in the house.

She always hated it when I was right.

The wife knows that what I buy, to maintain our 12 acres, is well worth the investment. Heck, I still have our Gravely 60" mower, that we purchased in 2001, when we moved into our previous house that was on 10 acres. Granted, I've had to weld broken parts back together again, but it still runs great.

Currently 27 degrees. Someone decided to forget to flush the outdoor hose line, so when we tried to use it guess what wasn't working.

44° and clear with 69% humidity (yay!) at 1:30 A.M. High of 72°. Chicken delights will be peas and canned salmon since SOMEONE decided to begin her molt in December.
