Baby diamondback rattler. It's spring so there are lots of juveniles out and about right now. That rock was about the size of a loaf of bread, for scale.

You guys must be sweltering...we can share some of our snow over your way to help out.
 
I went out to the coop this morning, to continue insulating. I rounded the next corner... only to see mice damage in the Rockwool insulation.

I spent the last 3 hours cleaning up the Rockwool, so the chickens didn't eat it.

This reminds me that Edison saying, about failing 10,000 times.

I sincerely hope none of the chickens ate any Rockwool.
 
Thanks for sharing the lead, but I've been pretty much fabricating anything that breaks on the machine, and using Ariens parts, since the belts are interchangeable.
IIRC Ariens and Gravely are sister companies. Or were.
