What's the temperature where you are???

Currently -4C (24F) and overcast. Temps will be rising overnight to Zero (32F), calling for rain and +5C (41F).

Hopefully it take all this snow away - but alas that won’t happen. As long as no more big dumpings of snow I should be able to manage. Looking at getting a blade for the truck so I can plow my driveway and to the barn without having to wait for my niece to drop by. That’s guaranteed to stop the snow hahahahaha.

18F today...but 51F this coming Thursday...I'm frantically looking for my Speedos
Yep going to be bikini weather here tomorrow! Woohoo! Too bad the lake is freezing cold (actually too bad it’s not frozen over so I stop getting lake effect snow 😡).

Oh oh oh, no think good thoughts, tomorrow will be warm(er) yay!!!!

That's what it was like at my grandmother's on Michigan's UP - tunnels and towers. We LOVED it!
I don't need that much snow, anymore, but I'd love one good three-footer every once in a while. Every childhood deserves at least one memory-making snowstorm like that!

Yep it’s fun for the kids 😊 esp making snowmen and snow forts, sliding down the hills… heck sliding down the hills is fun for us oldsters!

Maybe on Tuesday I can try make one as it's supposed to warm up to 36F!

I'm old but I still make snowmen. :)

And a couple of years before...

Hahaha those are awesome - that first one must be an Appaloosa 😁

I love when the horses get icy mud balls on their tails (and get it swatted in your face is fun!), or on their fetlock hair and they clink like beads 😉
They don’t like it so much. My neighbour has to keep their goats inside the snow is so deep they get stuck (I know I shouldn’t laugh at this) and have to be rescued.

Talking about frostbite... my hands are already stinging. Aunty Em ...
I can see the birdies thinking now. "What's that strange yellow ball in the sky?"
42° and clear with 47% humidity at 7:00 A.M. High today of 82°. 🤬 🤬 🤬

Chicken delights will be oatmeal in the morning and peas, spinach, and rice in the afternoon plus ice in the waterers.

Daytime visit from a coyote - one of the main reasons we don't free range:

These weird record-breaking temps (20° above the normal high and 30° above the normal mean 🤬) cause wildlife like coyotes and rattlesnakes to be out and about when they would normally be curled up in warm burrows.
A .22 rifle will take care of that Yote problem.
