Sunset yest. Heading for 27C today. School is about to resume in my state.

Friday: 5:30pm, 71°F, dew point 65°F, humidity 81%, wind E @ 10mph, cloudy. High today 72°F, low was 61°F.

MO. 16, it is the evening. It is supposed to get to 8. my chickens are not happy. Lol

66° with a light rain at 1:00 P.M.

If it stops later, we'll put the chickens in turn out and let them enjoy scratching in the damp earth.

I refuse to look at the temperature, I am going to pretend it is 25C and the mosquitoes are the worst annoyance out there.

The alternative is to become extremely sad, I hate winter but not much one can do but put up with it.

Tomorrow I will put all my heat sources on in the barn, help keep it warm in there for both me and the chooks. I want to get my diesel heater started and pipe in some nice warm air to create a warm up zone for everyone.

Oh ok here goes:

It should stay in the 60s for a few days! If it stops raining we can get more work done.

We had a steady, light rain until nightfall so we just left the flock where they are. We harvested some dandelions and gave those to them instead. That is their favorite backyard weed.
