58 and raining

We have been so dry I was thrilled when it started to rain yesterday. It is supposed to heat up this weekend though- I heard 90. That is almost unheard of up here in NH! I better get those shorts out of the closet!

Just got our electricity back after it was off for over 3 hours. Went down and covered the bators first thing. I've got eggs anywhere from 2 days away from hatch to ones that aren't due for 2 weeks. One bator got down to 82, another to 86 and another 92....not sure what the difference was...they were all covered the same and 2 set side by side. It's still thundering to our west so hopefullly it won't go out again!!

It's trying to Tornado in Hinton Ok which is west of the OKC metro area. YAY

I'm nervous today, we're waiting for the bad tornadic storms that are in central Kansas to come hit us tonight. I hate the severe storms and I hate the waiting period too.

I feel the same way......hurrah for tornado alley​

so far so good, but it's just now hitting us...I'm not a big fan of tornado's, especially after the May 3rd 1999 tornado. My grandmas house was destroyed, and many of my friends houses were just wiped off the map.

as of 7:15 am here it is 71 degrees and 83% humid. They are calling for highs in the 90's today....ugg

It's gonna be 92 today, but thank goodness, there's a breeze. The chicks were hot last night so I left both their windows wide open. I kept telling the silly birds that if they would quit piling on top of each other they wouldn't be so hot! But did they listen? NOOO!
