Yea, butleg feathers are thin and funny! I'm hoping it gets fluffier as she matures.

This is a turken I hatched too, neighbors egg, mom was black turken and no idea who father was. This turkens feathers are grey though, really pretty.

I got this one last year. Mother is either partridge Brahma mix or Faverolles mix. Father was a mix and was grey of color with red hackles, Partridge Brahma mother and White Leghorn mix father.

So the white in her must have been a recessive gene from her grandpa. What's more, she was dark grey as a chick.
