Calf fries are Rocky Mountain Oysters, which are the steer's balls basically. Boy I dont know how folks first thought of tryin that, but they sure are good! I'm just glad I aint a bull calf!

Ah yes. When my grandmother went to Mexico, she sent me some tequila lollipops, complete with a worm. At the time we were living on our sailboat in the carribbean, and were at a tropical, uninhabitated, rocky-cliffy-traily island. So I distributed these lollies amongst the other cruising kids. We took a few licks. EEEEWWW! The dog took a few (slobbery) licks. Then we threw the whole bunch over a particularly high cliff.

Thank you, Granny.

I have traveled most of the world so here are a few of my favorites.
Monkey meat
Iguana tail
aligator
cow tongue

Yumyumyum. I love the stuff. They carmalize it, then put some sweet sauce on top... Gimme that with my raw tuna rolls (tekka maki).

BTW, I HATE IT when people cook fish and stick it in sushi. Cooked eel is one thing. Baked fish is just cheating. A lot of kids I've met who have had sushi (not very many) didn't like it because it was cooked.

We always had pork brains cooked with our scrambled eggs...we liked our brains scrambled, LOL. But anyway, at the time we didn't consider it weird. That was life on the farm. I just remember it tasting good. Not sure I would want to eat it now, though.

Umm, this isn't something you'd want to eat but when I was 2 or 3 I ate one of those giant "bubble" ticks.

My dad told me there was blood running down my mouth and he asked me what I had done to my lip. I told him nothing, all I had done was eaten a grape. Well, we didn't have any grapes.
