What's the worst gift you ever received?

I once got a fake birthday cake covered in stucco (yes, stucco with the pointy finish) with faded dried flowers glued to the top (I think they were supposed to make it smell better....better than stucco) Oh, and the stucco "icing" was cracked.

This came from my MIL.

but I bow to the used breast pump person.

well i wouldn't say the worst gifts, but we received 3 waffle makers for our wedding. haha, not sure if we needed all three!

How about deer pee? My wifes family knows that i hunt so guess what wonderfull present the decide on? A pair of gloves? A warm coat? Ammunition? New rifle? Of course not, lets get ol' mailman some pee. They even bragged about it being fresh. Shew. I am certainly not the most accomplished hunter in the world but i always take at least one or two a year and PEE never fits into the equation. Maybe since they want to refinance their house this year i will get them some banker pee. Maybe that will lure in a low rate.

Let's see...at my wedding my DH and I were opening our gifts and showing each one off. I open a small box and guess what's in it???? A box of Summers Eve! I don't remember who the gifter was but I do remember the laughter and my red face.

I got wine glasses for Christmas one year from my Grandmother. The SAME ones I donated to a charity yardsale! I still have them, I figured they would just find their way home again

My ex-SIL once handed me a brown paper bag... inside was a collection of her used make-up. She told me that she got new stuff and thought I might like to see what colors I look good in

I rarely wear make-up, and when I do I go for eye shadow in brown or green, colors like that. I would never wear purple eye shadow, and considering this stuff was all used?

We exchanged gifts at work (Secret Santa) and everyday I got a gift that reaked of smoke. I had to throw them in the trash because the smell was so strong it FUMIGATED my office. I couldn't even bring the gifts home because of the strong smoke smell. My Secret Santa was a HEAVY smoker and the smoke was in EVERY gift that she gave me. The gifts were at her home for about a week and she smokes in her house. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy my gifts.

That was my last year playing an office game.
