What's this Roo?

Hatchery quality silkie... where’d you get him? Almost looks mixed in coloring...
I got him at a "chicken swap"
He's such a good roo. My daughter can cuddle him and he "talks" to her.

At this point, I don't care if their hatchery quality or show quality. LOL I just want to be done with the fair week. LOL Which doesn't start until Sunday.
I'm just glad they are both silkies. They needed to be a pair (one of each) color doesn't matter. Thank goodness. We have 6 babies we hatched from 2 beautiful white silkies that I think will more "show quality." This year we are just trying to get our feet wet in 4h and chickens. This has all been a learning experience to be sure.
 
Blue silkie, with gold leakage. He's not a satin; they have normal feathering. I don't think Satin Silkies can be shown. @Cyprus?

No, they can't be shown. The standard calls specifically for silkied feathering.
