What's Up With Using Me As A Roost?!

Will try to get a pic soon to post. I'm glad others have this happen to them, as well. Those without chickens probably just wouldn't understand.

My rooster would sit on my shoulder do the purring sound and then he would nestle into the side of my neck at night. *tear* He is a teenager in bird years now and he won't be caught dead hanging out with his human mom anymore.... *tear* *tear*

My Easter Egger (FatOne) really enjoys the heated mobile roost we've installed. She can jump straight from the ground to a shoulder in 0.04 seconds, flat.

And this is Tonya Harding the Blue Andalusian really enjoying some gluttonous love.

I honestly believe that mine would roost on my instead of going in the coop if I'd let them! I need to get DH to take a picture when I'm wearing my '4 chicken' necklace made of buff orpingtons. They snuggle and coo and chirp; its so sweet. Here's a couple of pictures that I had to take one handed of Sweetie getting her ears done and 'laying down' on me...

My chickens when they were younger, playing with the neighborhood kids...
they'll jump up on me every night, too. And sometimes when i'm just working in the yard, pulling weeds, one will sit on my back to watch...
