What's with my black hen Mooney!

I have one all black hen who shines green in the sun. She lays 2 eggs a day (she just started laying for the first time) her dad looked like this

and the mom is a pure rhode barr (not sure of what the dad was)

he had one son before he died that turned out like so

and the one I can't figure out is is this girl, Mooney

shes feather legged aswell. The rhode barrs arent.

The father, which looks like a French Birchen Maran, had feathered legs, according to the picture, and feathered legs are a dominant trait, so that's why both offspring have them. I'm guessing that the father and/or mother carried a black gene.
