We have two rescue American Pit Bull Terriers and now chickens, hence pibblesNchicks . We also have an old crotchety mini dachshund, but I thought it seemed too strange to incorporate "wiener" into a username.

I originally was going to use "SuperChick" as my username. I wanted this because one of my favorite bands is Superchick and because I'm a chick and well you get it! Anyway, that username was already taken. So my brother and I came up with "Mountain Peeps" because I live in the mountains and love my peeps!

And then my avatar is my favorite hen, Gracie.

I guess you could say that my username is a play on words (slave for pets), I'm not clever enough to come up with a name for the different types of pets, as that seems to be evolving. And even though we affectionately refer to our pets as the "crackheads" I didn't think that would be appropriate for the board ;-)
Currently we have cats, birds, ducks & very recently added chickens. My avatar is a picture of my rooster Charlie (jersey giant)
