Whats wrong with my duckling?!

Interesting. I'd say she's normal in that department. Maybe a little more on the scale of these second hatchers. That's why I moved her to the 2nd brooder. I thought she fit in better there. She was at the same development stage as they were. And her hatchmates were outgrowing her everyday.

What do you hatch?

I've only let my Duck hatch once and that was a terrible experience so I've never tried again. I ended up with a pair of geese so I'm excited for their goslings.

I'll probably try that in the spring. Or maybe not.. Who knows what I'll do. If I don't get a bigger place soon I'm not going to do anything in the Spring! (stupid housing market.)

Yea the markets not great right now

. Hopefully something will work out. If you chick does end up being a micro do you still plan on putting her outside?

We didn't realize how bad the market was until we had the agent over. Wow. We can't even get what we paid 9 years ago. We couldn't believe it. And we are in a popular city known for it's school district. We might rent. My chickens need something Bigger. You can't put a farm girl in the city and expect her to not get animals. Just sayin'...

If she is a micro. I don't know what I'll do..

With Duckgirl's duckling Cheese, I'm still thinking of the blocked nostrils and the poopy bottom. It seems to be more than a size issue.

Duckgirl, how are his nose and bottom at the moment?

could she put him in a warm bath to see if he could unblock he nose?

Yes, a lukewarm bath with chopped up greens in it is a good idea. You want them to be encouraged to dunk their heads under (the greens encourage that).
