What's wrong with my eggs......

so what i meant in external pip to zip, it takes awhile to absorb all that yolk

Ducks can take a long...........long.........time between external pip and zip......It is nerve wracking.....Patience is hard with them!

Duckling #3 ventured out into the air cell a few hours ago, so it seems there is roughly 12hrs between 1 & 2 and then 2 & 3. Is insane. Sadly #4 also knicked a vein, so he joins #5.
I suppose a watched pot never boils.... but I can't drag myself away. I love hearing their little cheeps from within their eggs.

It's Friday morning 06:41, managed to pull myself away for a 2hr cat cap but there is still no external pipping on any of the eggs. #1 Is running on 48hrs now, #2 on about 36hrs and #3 on 12hrs...... Still leave the first 2 to it?? Or is it time to step In?

@DwayneNLiz @WVduckchick getting a little desperate here..... shell is developing brown spots on the top, keeping outer membrane moistened but that inner membrane is looking dodgy. Please advise. He is cheeping away but can't seem to wriggle.
