What's wrong with my eggs......

How is #2?

Still yawning a bit, but coconut oil doing the trick on the membrane. Everyone has gone quiet now, #1 was driving me dinky running all over the bator so put a teddy bear in with him to settle him down. Ok I take it back #2 Is cheeping away now.

The duckling looks great!

@ronott1 #1 didn't make it through the night sadly, his belly button wasn't totally absorbed in, still getting there with #2 And #3.

#3 Sadly died in the egg, I had opened the front up and was keeping the vein ridden membrane dampened but sadly she just quit. #2 has been fully out of the egg since 10am and going strong. I did offer her a tiny bit of water which she gladly took. She has bee very vocal all morning, she is only fluffing out in areas not her whole body. Do I need to wipe her down or anything?

I am so sorry!

Next hatch will be much better from what you learned from this one. Do not let this put you off. Hatching is a learning experience--I learn more all the time
