Thanks. Well this has been a humbling experience. Here I was getting all cocky thinking for certain the Silkieds would hatch. They were strong and working their way out of the eggs last night but a little too much blood to help. When I got up, they were dead in their shells. I do not get it at all. PERFECTLY formed, normal navals and their breathing was unobstructed. It seems like there is only a small window of opportunity to help them out of the egg. Fortunately, I have several more from the second group and I have learned from my mistake.
