They are half Amera / half Orpington right now. I also can't be 100% any of the fluffy boy's (ahem) 'stuff' is in any of these. He became the only rooster in their pen about two weeks back, but I've since realized I need to trim the fluff around his vent to be sure he's 'servicing' them properly.

Believe me, I'm waiting VERY IMPATIENTLY to stick them in the bator! Need to be able to collect more than 2 eggs every 3 days though.

Wondering if anyone would be interested in 24 week / ~ 5 month old F1 (from Jubaby's eggs that Kathyinmo hatched before dispersing her flock). I've been blessed in the stock that I do have and want to spread some around. I hate seeing all these posts of people's birds passing on.

I'd prefer that he go to someone who needs/wants a male F1 for their breeding. F1 + F1 should equal 25% fluffy, 50% smooth carriers, 25% smooth non-carriers (out of a hypothetical 100 chicks).

Please PM me if interested. If the weather is still bad in your part of the country we can work something out for a later shipping date.

I've brought one of mine in, as I lost another pullet and this is the next weakest-looking one. They are just frail, skinny things, and I augment their feed (Ultra Kibble) with nuts, fruit, grains, meat, fat, and anything I can get them to eat.

If I can get them through the Winter, I'm breeding them with my SQ Black Ameraucanas and my Snowy Nikkeis.

It will be an exercise in adding robust vigor!
