What's wrong with their feathers?

Hedemora Chickens have feathers like that! They don't have black skin or feathered legs or 5 toes!, Hence the Ameracauna leg color would be dominant! They come from Sweden. That is what I would invision chicks to look like if someone were to cross a Hedemora and an Ameracauna! Beautiful Birds! It would awesome if you had a hen and a Roo! Then you could breed and see what the chicks hatch out like!

Hi, they've actually been breeding these chickens for a few years. I've got some incubating just North of you in St Helens.

The resemblance to Hedemoras has already been discussed. They are not those.

My eggs are here!!!!

Printed right one top in RED "Call for PICKUP"

Nope, they came by truck and the carrier delivered mail and was driving the opposite way on the other side of the street, when my daughter walked out. Then she did a U-turn and pulls up and says "OH, there's a package."

I have a feeling these were going back to the PO and they would have call tomorrow. Man they drive me crazy.

I understand the blue/black/splash genetics but the wheaton/blue wheaton is new to me. I've decided to start with b/b/s since that's easiest, but I think I'd eventually like to do wheaton and blue wheaton. Are blue wheaton created by blue + wheaton or are the genes unrelated?

This happened to me too!! My DH stopped at the PO when he got off work (at 6am), they insisted that there was NO package for us...he called me...I told him that they had to be there...they were scanned at a sorting facility 2 hours from us two days prior. They still insisted they were not there. Around noon, they were delivered to my doorstep..."Hold for pickup" written clearly on the label!!!!!!!!!! The PO drives me nuts!

You know what my PO suggested I do? I put the PO address instead of MY address with CALL FOR PICK UP on it. They have no choice but to hold it for delivery and call ;) The only issue I had with this if if the person I bought from screws up and doesn't put my number on the package which happened once.

That is a good idea, but geez if they couldn't see this! Red! Big letters and numbers! I swear I hate dealing with any of them. I've gotten so many broken and smashed eggs lately, but I tell ya, Alicefelldown, packages like a real pro.

I'm waiting for my mechanic to call so I can pick up my car, then I'm driving to drop these off. Another BYCer is going to hatch them out for me, I'm just too nervous. I have lots of eggs in the incubators and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them either, but I want to make sure these are double secure and safe and in a bator that has great hatches. It will keep me from standing over them for the next 21 days. Affraid I'll bother them too much.
