Good thread and good call on the prolapse. I also had to debri my prolapsed hen.  It was pretty gross. Only thing I havent seen mentioned is stop her laying for a while. Put her in a different cage if you havent already in a dark room. 
A tums will give her stronger contractions to help hold her innards in. Crush it and sprinkle it on a scrambled egg. I used aloe to help speed healing after mine was clean and on the mend. She is a production breed ? They are more prone to having these type of problems . Do you have calcium free choice for them ?
