Ours has changed and it looks like it will change again soon. Now the sun is out but the clouds are increasing. Looks like more storms headed our way for the afternoon.

well you got the weather report from others nearby but where I am it's t-stormed and POURED every day for what feels like months now. There have been a few days where it starts out nice, but forget about exercising or gardening after work or in the afternoon, because it is thundering and lightning more often then not. I'm getting kind of tired of it but I know other areas aren't getting enough rain and do feel bad for them.

Our back yard is actually spongy... Today it was cooler and alternated between no rain and downpours. Lather, rinse, repeat for the next several days...

it is still better than a 95 degree heat and humidity wave, but I miss having a "normal" northeastern summer.

* Our rain today wasn't worth mentioning. However, 2 storms rolled off the coast of Africa today, and the early forecast track for at least one of them looks like trouble. Remember us in your prayers, won't you?? At least one more season without a major hurricane would surely be greatly appreciated!!

Stunning here today. Cool and breezy. Sun and big puffy clouds, in the 70s. Had another bad storm yesterday afternoon and lost power for a couple of hours. It was one of those where you heard a little sizzly sounds then the lights went out THEN you heard the boom! Must have been in the woods right behind us. I peeked out to check on the birds. The ducks were all huddled together but not in their pools thank heavens! The power was back on in time for the Olympics. And today we're benefitting from the storm yesterday. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer.
