SW VA wont be getting out of the teens for the next 5 days and we are expecting MORE snow. Schools have yet to reopen from the Christmas Holiday.
This is about 20 degrees lower than the 'normal' temps for this time of year. We are freezing!!!

Currently, "Light Freezing Drizzle Mist." That was certainly interesting to drive in.

We're supposed to have 4-6" of snow by tomorrow morning. We're a bit better-equipped to handle it since snow is a fact of life here; I'm not anticipating any closings tomorrow.

NW Ga calling for 1-3" of snow tonight (schools are letting out early today in anticipation of problems). We have NO snow equipment in Ga except for a few salt/gravel trucks that will patrol the interstates....should be interesting

Fri-Sun.....lows in the lower teens and highs NO HIGHER than 28F, winds to 30mph

This has been going on for well over a week here. VERY unusual

So much for the "GLOBAL WARMING" theory!!

Can't complain I don't guess....the folks in the NE area and upper Midwest deal with this for 6+ months a year every year.

Just TIRED of dumping ICE from my chickens waterers.....had some 4" thick yesterday (my boys thought it was fun to play with though)

I am with ya Scott, we are unprepared here in Ga because this never does this here!

For the past few days we've had to break/remove thick ice from the animal water bowls, but we had a break this morning with it only being 32, but single digits are forecast for the weekend. For us, that's bitter!
