What's your biggest pet peeve?

OMG - DITTO X 10 on the bike riders! you'd think they owned the road most of the time - its SOOO annoying! And worse yet - they pick the WORST ROAD to bike up (like in the mountains!) I mean.. WHO bikes up a mountain?! LOL!!

Whats worst even still is its usually a road you cant pass them on! I tell DH all the time "ya know.. if ya just ease up I could probably smack 'em in the head and yell at them to peddle faster"

(sorry to all you bike riders out there..but SHEESH) get a clue - Helloooo McFlyyyy!!

I second on the chewing with mouth open/making noises when you eat. GRATES on my nerves something fierce!

Oh -here's one I've run into recently - and twice in the past week while shopping/looking at items; once in the grocery store and recently (Sunday) while getting a pair of sneakers. While looking this woman kept going in front of me and reaching over me while I was not only LOOKING at shoes, but actually trying them on, as in reaching for pairs of them. After the 3rd or 4th time I finally looked over at DH and I must've had smoke coming out of my ears because he did the "dont do it" look but I'd had it by that time. SO....... I stood up.. tapped her on the shoulder and said to her "Am I in your way?" She looked at me and said "No..why?" (Open door anyone?

) I proceeded with "Because you keep reaching in front of me rather rudely instead of saying "Excuse me or pardon me" - and you've grated my final nerve with it."

Her mouth hit the floor and she didnt say a word.

Same thing happend at the grocery store while I was shopping like 2 days before this incident; the lady kept reaching in front of me no matter WHERE I went in the ailse and I'd had enough of her rudeness, so I said something.

RUDE PEOPLE SUCK. sorry if I offended you lady but dont be rude - you KNOW you're doing it...so dont be astounded when someone comes back at you, politely or otherwise with a comment to counteract and call you out on it!

I agree with texting. I worked at the Food Store for a few months and a lady would come in for horse feed, and what not. She'd be sitting there asking for stuff but would stop every 2 words to answer a text. One day she was buying puppy shots and started listing stuff. She say half of a thing, and then go on to a text. I finally wrote down my number on the back of a business card, and rather unproffesssionally, "When you get the chance, text what you want or close the phone" She finally put it up. The store owner has had issues with her before. She's on of the people who believe you should kiss their feet for looking at them.

I agree and understand most of these but I have a big one of my own.

People who volunteer my labor to others without so much as a "by your leave".

My mom used to do this to me constantly. She'd always tell her friends that I'd babysit their brats (I mean little dears) without asking me if I was available first and after I'd spent all day at school or babysitting my siblings. Needless to say I didn't have much of a social life.

Parents please don't do that to your kids.

Sure we try to keep the rooms clean, but housekeeping doesn't always get to clean the rooms between patients. The chances are someone either pooped, peed, bled or vomited in the room where you're eating your ribs and mashed potatoes.
