What's YOUR chickens' favorite treat?

I hope mine will like wild raspberries. Our patch has gone crazy and spreads across the yard and around it and is 20 ft deep on one side. More than we could ever pick! Anyone's girls like raspberries? Any problems feeding them to our girls?

chickens love all kind of berries and it is safe just as long as you don't let them have the thorns(well duh). but just saying my chickens arn't pikey at all and they hate frozen thowd berries but they love fresh picked berries you give them berries they love you for ever!

What's in the Chicken Bread or is it a secret?
There are a number of recipes some are better than others, the best ones are the ones that the old cockers used.
Here is a old one.

Dr. J. A. Bentleys Cock Bread Recipe (1921)

12 fresh eggs (beat well)
1 cup sweet butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 pint old port wine
3 quarts spring or well water
3 tablespoons caraway seed
1 cup oat meal
1 tablespoon yeast
Add enough flour to make stiff dough
Let rise and bake

I changed the above mix around a bit but it still works good. (the birds love it)

12 fresh eggs (beaten)
1 cup sweet butter
2 cups honey
1/2 pint beer
3 quarts spring or well water
3 tablespoons caraway seed
1 cup oat meal
1 tablespoon yeast
Add flower to make a stiff dough

I heard roaches have some poison in them but it is not that much... is that true? and will it affect chickens, also do common stores sell them like Target, Walmart, etc?? or do you have to catch them?

BOSS (Black Oil Sunflower Seeds) are very nutritious and beneficial to your flocks health.
