What's your favorite book?

I LOVE the Dark Tower series. But as crazy as it sounds, I couldn't bring myself to read the last one. I bought it when it first came out, but it has been collecting dust on my shelf ever since. I just don't want to know how the quest ends.

I can't blame you there! I read almost to the end of the last book, then put it down for awhile. But then my curiosity kicked in and I just had to finish it.

We just read that too, about 37 times. I swear I have several dozen children's books memorized...

MY favorite books: well, too many to list, but the top 3 are The Chronicles of Narnia, The Red Tent, and the Sevenwaters Trilogy.

Diana Gabaldon ~ Outlander: This is the first of a series featuring a time-travelling English woman just after WWII who travels back to Scotland.... 1700's. So if you're into Scottish/American history (they are now in North Carolina) there's lots of meat here. I could NOT put this book down (nor the second, nor the third....). The seventh book of the series is due out the 22nd of this month!! I can't wait (it takes her about 4 years to write each ~ very long ~ book, so it's much appreciated when it finally arrives).
