Thank you! Yeah, they are chickens - not turkeys. Great to see you favs
How does one pick a favorite? We have a couple of mutts, Gold Sex Links, Herritage RIRs, Herritage Rose Comb Dominiques, and Herritage Buff Orpingtons. I can't pick a favorite breed, though I do have favorite individual chickens! I'd be happy to have a couple of almost everything...... Except a naked neck. They freak me out!
Sorry to post late. She's a banty. Serama's are the smallest breed of chickens. And she's not the smallest ^^ She is a class B I think.
They are a really neat breed coming in many colors and they come in regular feathers, frizzled feathers, silkie feathers, and a mix of frizzle and silkied feathers.
Button is tiny but is a dedicated egg layer. The egg whites are less then a big egg but her yolks are almost as big as a regular egg. She will lay 1-2 eggs per day. They are cute eggs and really tastey. I got a broodie silkie so I'm gonna try getting some serama hatching eggs and get more to add. Because they are such a great breedWhere I live hens, roosters, a chicks are bought up fast. So I'd be able to find homes easily for any unwanted roosters
