What's your favourite thing about chickens

The clucking and other noises just seem to me to be homey and comfortable.

I like the way my peeps gather at the door when they hear my voice. They're always happy to see me, and the freedom and treats that I bring.
I also like to hear them 'talking' to each other. The soft chuckles when they snuggle up for bed, the "I got something good!" cry, the squawks and clucks.
I also like the different personalities, and watching them interact with each other. We always know Ms P will be the first to try something new, Thing 1 will be the first to discover a treat, Daisy is always the boss, and Huff Puff is always last.

Haven't gotten any eggs yet, but we've had a lot of laughs and awwwwws as we've watched them grow. And I like giving them scraps and knowing that someday we'll eat those scraps, recycled by our peeps (into eggs)!

I think the "what are you wearing look" is hilarious! They're probably like, "Woman, your gym shorts have got to go. Feed us in something more this season."

I love my purse chicken's, Gucci, open attitude. Just the most cuddly bird - I didn't even know they would cuddle or like to be carried. I love the neck stretch before crowing. I think they have the funniest little walk - the head bobbing like they're hot stuff! I could watch them for hours!
