Oh Lordy I had alot of horses over the years and I do not have all pictures of them. I will have to find a day to scan all the pics of them if I do find them again!
Little Farm's Ranger, 3/4 Arab who was a sweet gelding that taught a green horn to ride and manage to test me from time to time. Looks alot like Raffles, did tons of trail riding with him.
Bambi, 1/2 TN Walker, 1/2 Foxtrotter of pedigreed lines. Beautiful filly but STUPID! So was I! Sold her to an experienced trainer.
Songbird Cierva "Muneca", Paso Fino and she was the BEST Paso I've had and wished I never sold her! She went on to be a show horse for Windsong Farms and Blueberry Farm. I would love to know where she is or did she pass away now.
Saarabi, 1/2 Arab, 1/2 TN mare. The UGLY mare of all sorts but once I got her trained, she was GOOD beginner's horse to ride. RIP Sarah
Songbird Becario, Paso Fino gelding. Good gelding all around and was a good trail horse. He didnt gait well but his heart does try to please you anywhere and everywhere!
Negra Azabache, Paso Fino mare, imported from PR. Nice broodmare but god, she was STUPID! She was strictly a broodmare and sold her as a broodmare again. I did not plan on breeding her and wanted to start riding her but it didn't work out.
Songbird Danino, Paso Fino gelding. Goreous ex-stud gelding had been shown in his earlier years as a fino fino and now pleasure. I had to make a very difficult choice in selling him...either him or had to get a new car since my car was having transmission problems. He was COOL when we took him to reenactments and none of the cannons and rifle fires ever faze him one bit. Sold him to a teenage girl that uses him for trail riding and was sold again to a lady that used him as an lawn ornament LOL!
The miniatures I've had and loved but had to sell them because no stables will take them in due to their small size and their factilites can not accominate their heights (fencings, etc.) nor woudl they accept miniature studs. My two stallions I've had was Piney's Rain Beau (RIP, he was put down last year, age about 27), Count, a blk/white tobiano stallion of Rowdy lines, Mother May I, Hemlock Brooks Dark Angel, all of the PaCE miniature foals I've bred and raised. Missed them all, particuarly Mother May I (Lady), she was one of a kind, LOVES and ADORES kids and foals!
Would I have horses again? I honestly dont think so...the way the ecomony is going and we live in the city and boarding stables are charging very high prices would deter me from getting any. The market for them is piss poor. If anything, anything at all, i would not mind having TWO horses and many chickens if I do have a place out in the country!
