5. Amy (EE pullet)

My 8 Faverolles are young enough that they are still working out their pecking order.

Marshmallow - light brahma
Stripes - buttercup
Speckles - Barred Rock
Tweety - Buff Orpington
Chipmunk - EE
Red - RIR

Chipmunk and Red will also fly up on my arm for treats. Chipmunk is oh so gentle when she does, Red not so gentle.

And if you are wondering about the strange names........they were named by my kids.

My top hen is Brigid, a buff brahma.
I have a small hen that is so dainty in her habits that I named her after a dear elderly friend of mine, Maggie.
She's sweet and loving with me. She's a tyrant with the other hens.
Of course my rooster Thor is king of the whole domain, but even he backs down to Brigid.

My RIR are on top of the pecking order and the Easter Eggers are at the bottom. The leghorn answer to no one and hang around by themselves. The BSL are kind of mean and as they get older may take over at the top. The BR pick on the EE.
