Debbi, Some of the young wheaten male chicks will have the light faded coloring like this chick. These are the ones when grown will have the cottontail , white undercolor and most likely white in wing and tail. Not knocking the chick as they are not all going to be show quality birds. This chick almost looks to be a blue wheaten.Don, I'd like to know what you see that makes you think roo in his bird? I have no experience with the Wheaten color so far, well at least none more than a week old.![]()
