I do feed them whole black sun flower seeds .from the end of the summer right tell the end of the winter .6 months a year .

Just candled the eggs looks like 8 of the twelve eggs were developing. Due to hatch next Wednesday.

I have my first chick out on day 20, 1 other egg pipped, and 5 yet to be pipped. Day twenty one is tomorrow.

5 chicks from this batch. 2 didn’t hatch one looks like it stoped developing around day 15, the other was positioned wrong in the shell and couldn’t pip.

I hatched just over thirty chicks for the season. I’ll have to do a head count tomorrow to give accurate number for the season most are older enough that I can tell sex to. Some nice looking chicks in I got.
