Aww they are so cute! Just gotta love wheaten chicks especially when they get that grizzled look when their true feathers are coming in lol.

the pics are from a wile back but i have some eggs in the bator but i never candle and have no idea of fertility yes they are cute and smelly!

Randy, I'm glad to hear your girls are laying again. how many eggs you got cooking?
Hey if I get any extra roos from new bloodline you are more then welcome to him.
my girls are cutting back some now,but got a lot of chicks right now. so should have a good start for next year plus the ones in the bator. after these I'm shutting it down for a while. You are so right about smelly! LOL

aww thanks , im gunna keep the flock pure davis / presley and see how that will do without adding any new lines and keep a completly closed flock ,the roo i saved from last years hatching of many is a almost cotton free and from what the nice apa guy said that post here , he was a keeper .... but thank you for offering , its nice to know a neighbor would help out if needed ,,,,, so ,,,, big questiion ,,who did u get eggs from ? what new blood line ?inquireing minds want to know ?

they have Davis in them along with Teasdale and wade(very little)
The roo I got from you as a replacement does not have any either. Only time you see any is if he is standing on something and tring to eat scratch grains off the ground and he is streached out. I got them more for working on eggs ,hen combs, and so I don't lose anything (size ,body shape ect..) by not having the 2 founding lines like you have to work with.
You know start working own your own line. The eggs are very nice and should help out a lot.

yes , i think the only time to candle eggs if u cant tell wich end is up if they are to round , the bator i use ,,,, you wont need to open it till day 22 to get the chicks
