Wheaten and Blue wheaten Marans Discussion Thread

In my second picture there, you can see that the roo with no cotton fluff has red edging on his tail feathers. Is that worse than cotton fluff at base of tail or better?

I don't work with Wheatens but I do work with Copper and Birchen varieties of Marans and I would personally choose to work with the red edging vs. the fluff. Fluff is very very hard to get rid of. Colors can be worked with easier IMO.
