Oh and I have to say that OEGB cockerel is too cute.
Your flock has some nice looking birds in it.

Seeing the photos, I would be worried if they fought more. Since the 'hen' won, that says a lot if the boys fight more.

I do see why you think it's female - but I can't believe that.

Only time will tell, is the little dude she was fighting with isn't crowing yet, but if they are both roos, then they will crow at the same time!

I agree, plus if they were both boys, it seems like they would fight more. Very pretty flock, I am always kicking myself for not getting advntrouse and getting pretty breeds. I only got boring breeds for my flock, LOL RIR and stuff like that!

12 weeks?! Both are male.
I wouldn't be watching them fight. I see the OEGB gave him some nasty pecks in there.

No blood and not a single fight since the initial introduction.
Everything I see looks female on this Cochin. That bright red comb made me think she was a Roo early on, but the feathers in neck saddle area and tail show no pointed feathers at all. She stands like a hen all the time, only time she rose up was meeting this Roo. Going to be watching things carefully over the next month for that Cochin to crow....will post it when it happens...if it happens. Thanks everyone.
