I let all of my hens go broody but when they don't go broody or for breeds I have that aren't broody themselves of course we incubate the eggs. And we breed and sell so in order to keep up with our list of people, we have to incubate. There is nothing wrong with this.It's because of people such as yourself who like to incubate with a machine that many birds do not go broody. You have ruined them by destroying their natural abilities. It's so sad.
It’s not sad. You are probably fortunate enough to have broodys, and if you don’t and you are still ok with it, than that’s your choice. I’ve had chickens for 8 years and never had a committed broody, and it’s nice to be able to have chicks. Its also a learning experience.
