When Can We Eat Our Eggs?

[email protected] :

ok forgive me on all this stuff.. and it's all stuff....I hate to tell you this unless you eat everything organic.. AND I MEAN EVERYTHING ORGANIC. You have eaten this antibiotic and so much more...Please let me know if you have had any growths that glow or any extra fingers and toe's. Relax.. checked with the pharmacist here at work.. and those additives unless eaten in absolute huge quantities over a very long period of time, will not harm you in anyway shape or form. Did you know that soybeans have more additives than chicken feed?

Now go have a nice day!!

That's not really the point. If you add together EVERYTHING that people are willy-nilly putting in their bodies, it all adds up. If someone wants to try to eliminate some of the chemicals and such, then that's their prerogative, and they shouldn't be deceived into consuming them. Maybe they're allergic to soy and avoid anything with soybeans in it anyways.

The point is, it's not right to make blanket statements such as "chick starter does not have antibiotic in it" if you really don't know. Some people use chick starter for other animals (like gamebirds), and if a blanket statement is used, it could possibly kill someone's birds. Believe me, I had thought that all gamebird starter from Purina was UN-medicated, and almost bought a bag to feed my quail, until a feed store employee pointed it out. People online argued with me like the dickens, and basically called me a liar and the feed store employee an idiot. I actually had to go as far as to get a tag from the store and scan it in. All of this just so that nobody else just grabbed a bag thinking that the GBS from Purina were all un-medicated.

I never knew chick starter had antibiotics in them. I always thought the medication was just Amprolium, which is not an antibiotic. So I guess the lesson here is read your labels!!!

Most definately. I never knew that Purina had a game bird starter with medication in it either! The feed stores around here can't even GET unmedicated Purina GBS! Unbelievable, considering that most people have never heard of medicated GBS.

I've always wondered where that toe growing out of my forehead
Came from. Nobody else in the family had those toe genes.

Guess that's why grandma always told me to quit eating the chicken
Feed out of the bag. But it tasted good with all the soy beans!

Dumor starter is unmedicated to the best of my knowledge....it is a Purina product....and you can have TSC order it for you....pitched a collossial fit and they got it back in the store after they pulled it for the straight Purina stuff that they were so proud of finally getting!
